Who are you?
Jonny Griffiths

What style of music do you play?
Trance & Progressive.

Where did it all begin?
Doing mobile disco's when I was around 15/16 ha!

Who inspires you as a DJ?
Above&Beyond, Gareth Emery,Simon Patterson,Armin Van Buuren, Marco V, the list could easily go on.

What’s the best event you’ve played at?
One of my most memorable would be playing after Ferry Corsten for Gatecrasher at The Syndicate in Bristol in front of around 2000 people... Every Classics night at Escape, and John O'Callaghan at Escape earlier this year.

What was your first record you bought?
Can’t remember for the life of me.

What's your favourite tune of all time?
I would really struggle to choose just one, but today im thinking... Armin Van Buuren - Shivers.

When the music stops, how do you like to chill out?
I like to have a party time with my mates, spend time at home chilling out watching TV etc and any group outings like Go Karting etc too!

What do you do outside of the dance music scene?
Full Time Electrical Engineer for Western Power.

When you play is it a pre-planned set?
If i'm warming up for a Guest Artist I 95% plan my set, you kind of have to as last thing you want to do is play one of their tunes or one of their play-listed tracks at the time (though i do throw the odd surprise track depending on the crowd). On all the other nights though I just go off the cuff with my sets (obviously with a few tunes I know I’d like to drop if possible).

What advice would you give to up and coming DJs?
Practice Practice Practice... If you know someone who DJs try and get someone to one time with them... it really helps!

Out of all the tunes you have, which one never fails?
There are a load of big tunes out there but without a doubt it has to be Carisma vs Mauro Picotto - Let Me Show You Lizard... Absolutely takes the roof off wherever it’s played.
